TN-Birders: This is a great time to check areas where Great Blue Herons are nesting across the state. It would be neat if as many birders as possible will check on those heronries and give us a count of birds and nests by species. Be sure to give the county and whatever location you can. Report whatever you find. And, if you find nothing at a traditional site, report it not active at this time. This information can be picked up by our Season Report regional compilers for publication in THE MIGRANT. Let's experiment with this and see what results we can get with a real effort to survey and report online. Let's go birding....
