January 29, 2014 Dickson County TN Yesterday on a repeat hike at Montgomery Bell PS, it appears the Fox Sparrow flock is still present along lake trail at Lake Woodhaven (saw ~ 10). This is an informal fisherman's trail between the boat ramp and the picnic area. One draw here is water, a trickle of seeps flowing into the lake, in an otherwise frozen landscape. Other additions not seen 2 weeks ago include Purple Finch, one female, and 2 Red-headed Woodpeckers.
