[TN-Bird] cranes

years back.I learned,I believe on this forum,that two whooping cranes had been
accidently shot by sandhill crane hunters. Do people EAT sandhill cranes? Are
they stuffed and mounted? Do their feathers or bones have medicinal value?
I know that the Wildlife Federation does great things but isn't this an
activity that can be avoided?
