I spent the day at Ky Lake, and at Pace Point observed one Western Grebe, presumably one of the birds previously reported. It was floating with the Ruddy Duck flock west of the point with a handful of Horned Grebes for company. The yellow bill and black face enclosing the eye were both noted. At Britton Ford, there were several hundred Redheads with the multitude of Canvasbacks, undoubtedly they are on their way north.
