Well our sandhill crane is back again this year. Wish I knew where he/she
hangs out during the winter. Easily seen along the Blue Goose Blvd Auto
Tour Loop.
Near mouth of Duck River
43 adult white pelicans but none had the knob on the bill characteristic of
breeding birds.
Some sad news to report. For those of you that may have known the previous
Refuge Manager John Taylor he passed away Sunday after a long battle with
pancreatic cancer. Instead of flowers he asked donations be made to the
Tennessee NWR Friends Group.
