Productive visit to the bottoms this morning turned up the following notables.
Spotted Sandpiper
Western Sandpiper
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Pectoral Sandpiper
Stilt Sandpiper (1st for me at this site)
Short-billed Dowhitcher
Lesser Yellowlegs
Greater Yellowlegs
Sora
Little Blue Heron
Peregrine Falcon
Bobolinks
All of the water/shorebirds and Peregrine were along the Blue Goose Blvd Loop,
especially near the end of the loop on the left hand side. Still several
Blue-winged Teal scattered about. Also a few coots and a lingering Horned Grebe
along the loop (crippled/injured?) same spot it was in couple weeks ago. The
Bobolinks capped off the morning. They were in the grass/vetch field at the end
of the main road next to the river. Full report on eBird.
