Shelby Forest State Park
Spent three hours this morning at Meeman-Shelby Forest S.P.  Nothing unusual, 
but a nice mix of migrants, residents, winter arrivals and summer lingerers.

Cormorant 1
Wood Duck 2
Hawks: 1 Broad-wing & 1 Red-shoulder
Barred Owl 1
Swift 3
Woodpeckers: Red-headed 20
Red-bellied 15
Sapsucker 4
Downy 12
Hairy 1
Flicker 20+
Pileated 3
Pewee 5
Acadian Flyc. 1
Phoebe 2
Vireos: White-eyed 1
Blue-headed 2
Yellow-throated 1
Philadelphia 4
(Oddly, NO Red-eyed)
Blue Jay 30+ (large # for this park)
Am. Crow 7
White-b Nuthatch 15
Brown Creeper 2
Winter Wren 1
Ruby-cr. Kinglet 15+
Bluebird 22
Thrushes: 1 Swainson's and 1 Wood
Catbird 5; 1 Mocker and 4 Thrashers
Warblers:
Tennessee 3
Parula 1
Chestnut-sided 1
Magnolia 3
Yellow-rumped 1
Black-throated Green 14
Black-&-white 2
Redstart 3 (all adult males)
Tanagers: 1 Summer, 2 Scarlet
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 3
Sparrows: Chipping 5, Swamp 1, House 2
Lots of chickadees, titmice, Carolina wrens, robins, cardinals, indigos, 
grackles (plus starlings, cowbirds and red-wings)
