[TN-Bird] Banded Rock Pigeon in Roane County

Adjacent to Clinch River mile 13, downstream of Gallaher Bridge, Hwy 58
A TWRA officer informed me that he received a call on a dead bird at the
above location this morning. The bird is reported to be a rock pigeon,
primarily gray and black in color. No visible marks on the bird -
apparently in good condition (other than being dead!) with the exception
of being somewhat emaciated (pronounced breastbone keel). The bird was
wearing a yellow aluminum legband on the left leg with the writing "IF
2004" printed above the writing "MTN 276". The right leg was sporting a
green plastic band with the writing "BR4". The bird was retrieved and
the bands are no longer in circulation.
Please forward this message to anyone who might have interest in this
bird and please respond if anyone out there has information on it.
