Harpeth Valley Greenway Davidson Co. Bellevue, TN 2011 Aug. 13 6:45-8:05 am cloudy Got some exercise this morning walking the greenway and found 36 bird species at the same time. Two immature DOUBLE-CRESTED CORMORANTs were on the small lake and an adult flew over. Other than 9 KILLDEER there were no other shorebirds. At the far end of the walk while I was pishing, an EASTER-SCREECH OWL responded. Other birds of particular interest included GRAY CATBIRD and BROWN THRASHER. The only warbler heard or seen was COMMON YELLOWTHROAT.
