[TN-Bird] Chattanooga RBA #11

This is Update Number #11 made on May 2, 2003.

Two SCISSOR-TAILED FLYCATCHERS were seen near the Lodge Manufacturing Plant
off East Sixth Street in South Pittsburgh, Marion, co TN on April 27.
Apparently they had been seen there by factory personnel starting a couple
of days earlier. (Elijah Cavett, Doug Geren) They were looked for but not
seen on May 2. (Dennis Harris)

The Cravens House area is still producing alot of migrant activity.  Twelve
species of warblers including Black-throated Blue, the first report of
Magnolia, as well as Cape May and Nashville were seen on April 29.  The
first report of Yellow-billed Cuckoo came from Stratford Place on April 30.

The first report of Veery and Kentucky Warbler came from the Greenway Farms
on April 27. (David Aborn)

At least 11 Virginia Rails and two or Soras were seen from Standifer Gap
Marsh on April 29 (David Patterson) and four Lesser Yellowlegs, two Solitary
Sandpipers and 1 Blue-winged Teal were seen from there on April 26. (Betty

DONT FORGET ABOUT THE NATIONAL MIGRATION COUNT ON SATURDAY MAY 10.   IF YOU
