O.K. so i'm not computer savy enough to get it right the first time. Guess i'll try it the old fashion way. Alabama's 1st. CLARK'S NUTCRACKER was relocated Friday evening around 3 pm in Mt. Cheaha State Park. This is south of Anniston and I-20. From AL281, turn right onto Bunker Loop Rd. which goes to the lodge and park. Follow the summit loop road (through the pay gate) and follow the signs to the 'highest point in Alabama'. After the gate it is believed to be the first left turn (if you continue straight you will be heading to Bald Rock). Look for a stone building and tower on the right marking the mountain's high point and highest point in Alabama. Friday, the nutcracker was just past this tower and about 0.1 mile past pavillion #1 on the left side of the road near a red garbage can. The nutcracker flew from tree to ground several times in the area and was closely observed. This information was copied from Steve McConnell"s post to the Alabama bird list.
