Yes, thanks. I like that advice. So, that's really good to know. Are the mp3 batteries expensive? Thanks.

Hello all,

As knowledge is something which is constantly being updated, evolved,
or changed, please read the below concerning charging lithium
batteries overnight.

From things i've been seeing recently regarding charging lithium
batteries, it has been stated that charging something like a
smartphone or other device that have lithium batteries overnight might
not be such a great idea. Apparently since the device stays turned on
while it's charging, what happens is that it charges to 100% then as
the power starts dropping because the device is still turned on, it
restarts the charging cycle once again. So what ends up occuring is
that you use up charging cycles needlessly and remember that lithium
batteries have a limited amount of charging cycles they can go through
before they start dropping in efficiency.

Since our Talking MP3 Players only take about an hour or so to fully
charge, I suggest you just charge them the necessary time and then
disconnect them. No sense in lessening the battery's life by leaving
it plugged in overnight.

Of course doing this now and then isn't a major catastrophe, but I
would recommend that if you're in the habit of letting it charge
overnight, that you make a change in your habit for the sake of your
player's battery life.

I hope this is of some help.

Laz
