Thanks for the reply guys !
Thanks for the suggestion Euan, in fact I used it before for running windows &
linux !
but yesterday I got a new box for citrix. So exchange and citrix are running on
two different machines now.

Lara,

If you are wanting to set-up a test environment and have a lack of boxes
available - have a look at either Microsoft Virtual PC or the entry level
VMWare products - Using just two boxes both with only 512mb RAM I am able to
run a Win2003 AD DC, Win2000 Terminal Server, NT4.0 MSX5.5 server NT4
workstation, Win2000 Pro, and Win98 box all at the same time. While these
virtual machines are running with very restricted RAM allocated and as result
run quite slowly they have allowed me to test things I would not have been able
to any other way.

Unless you are going to running Citrix and Exchange on the same server in
production, then I wouldn't install them on the same machine in your test
environment. Your test environment should look as much like production as
possible, or your test results will be less valuable.

And I would never run Citrix with *any* other server system, like SQL server,
Exchange, IIS, SMS, etc, on the same box.

Hi,

Is it okay to install citrix metaframe xp presentation server 3.0 in the same
machine as microsoft exchange server 2003 ? When i wanted to install it, it
gave a warning that microsoft exchange might not work properly and need to be
reinstalled. Both citrix and exchange are supposed to be in the same domain.
Any restriction ? FYI, both of them are installed for experiment & testing
purpose for the authentication module only, not for real use....

Thanks
lara
