And likewise, I would never (and I'd guess Mark would never) run Exchange with *any* other server system, like Citrix on the same box :) Ever. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Landin, Mark Sent: Monday, August 23, 2004 9:35 AM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: citrix installed in the same machine as exchange ? Unless you are going to running Citrix and Exchange on the same server in production, then I wouldn't install them on the same machine in your test environment. Your test environment should look as much like production as possible, or your test results will be less valuable. And I would never run Citrix with *any* other server system, like SQL server, Exchange, IIS, SMS, etc, on the same box. ________________________________ From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Lara Adianto Sent: Sunday, August 22, 2004 9:34 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] citrix installed in the same machine as exchange ? Hi, Is it okay to install citrix metaframe xp presentation server 3.0 in the same machine as microsoft exchange server 2003 ? When i wanted to install it, it gave a warning that microsoft exchange might not work properly and need to be reinstalled. Both citrix and exchange are supposed to be in the same domain. Any restriction ? FYI, both of them are installed for experiment & testing purpose for the authentication module only, not for real use....
