I don't know about MPS 3 but the unattend.txt in MF XP 2 was quite limited
with what you could do. The better way was to use a Transform file against
the MSI which would allow many more configuration options. As I said this
was for XP but may be the same with MPS 3.

Subject: [THIN] Unattended install for MPS

Anyone have a working unattend.txt file for MPS 3.0? I am trying to setup
a test server in Virtual PC using the unattended method. I can install
everything manually without problems. Whwn I enable logging, I get way too
much so I set it only give errors and warnings. The output file is two
line: start and stop messages.
