Hi,

On a partition size of 11 GB, the default clustersize should be 4K in win2k.
Win2k formats NTFS and installs into NTFS unlike NT 4.0 which formats FAT
and then converts to NTFS during the system build process.

Regards,

Rick

We have W2K Servers which were prepared with the default cluster size of 512
bytes. My partitions are 11204MB. Should I change this for future servers we
plan to setup?

Its the old "Make your NTFS cluster size 4096" thing. I'll be honest, I
don't know what the performance enhancement is. I do it on my new servers
out of habit, but I don't think you're hurting yourself that much.
