I believe that RM is installed by default with Xpe. I can't recall
anytime that I have had to specify it when I was performing an install.=20

Resource Manager is _not_ installed by default with XPe.

Easiest way to tell is to open CMC, then click a server. If you have a
Resource Manager tab, its on there.

What version of XP are you running? Resource Manager is installed by
default with XPe, regardless of FR level. Are you maybe running XPs or
XPa?

I am setting up Resource Manager. Under the Summary Database tab
Resource Manager is telling me that my Farm Metric server requires an
upgrade. I tried to reinstall FR2 and add Resource Manager but it looks
like it was already installed. However I do not see any evidence on the
box that it is really installed. My questions are this:

1. Is Resource Manager installed by default when I installed FR2?
2. Is there any way to know if Resource Manager is actually
installed by looking at the box?
