We had profile loading problems at about 20 sessions with a 40MB registry. Upping it to 120MB chased the problem away completely. -----Original Message----- From: Robert K Coffman Jr - Info From Data Corporation [mailto:bcoffman@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] Sent: 14 June 2004 21:04 To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Registry Quota on NT4 TSE I have a VM running on ESX that had an apparent problem with low registry quota. I built this machine from the image of another. I also ran a couple of tools on it to clean up the registry after running newsid: NTREGOPT PAGEDFRG According to the NT GUI, I had assigned 40MB to registry quota, and 22MB are in use. I bumped this up by 5MB and rebooted, and allowed user's back on to the system. My physical servers running TSE have been set for 40MB for years, with no apparent ill effects. They also have more RAM (2GB vs 1GB on VMs) and support more users. After reading up on registry quota in the MS Knowledge Base, I'm convinced that I have enough quota, but that something else is going on - ie. I hosed the registry when building the system or something with the Page Pool which appears to be related to reg quota somehow. Anyone have any idea what may be going on or how to troubleshoot this?
