I do have a lights out board but I have not configured it. There may be a
driver installed for it by the HP SmartStart process (which, by the way, is
now totally different than the Compaq SmartStart process). I did not have
the time to try and track down the exact driver that was killing me so I
just started over and did not use SmartStart this time. I only loaded the
drivers necessary to get the server up (arrray and NIC) and now Metaframe XP
loads just fine. I'll try your suggestion the next time.

I had issue with these when installing some other S/W - for remote
controlling the server.
Have a look under device manager and display adapters.. you'll see 2 devices
- one for the display adapter and one for the lights out.=20
I seem to remember that I had to disable, remove and reboot and then install
the S/W. I then re-enabled afterwards... but this was sometime ago

This is on a brand new HP DL580, 6 GB, 2 mirrored 36GB drives and 4 1.4G
processors.
Windows 2K Advanced Server w/Terminal Services - SP3
HP Proliant Essentials Foundation Pack R6.10
The XP install gets to the ICA Session Shadowing page. When I click Next it
blue screens - three times so far always at the same place.
Any ideas ?
