The only issue I have seen is when an actual folder (especially the inbox gets over about 2500 messages in it...Outlook will then load very slowly. Have them copy it off to another folder from the inbox. Their mailbox stores (not personal folders--online mail stores) range from 1.7 GB to 4.5 GB (yes--GB) and they've reported sporadic problems running Outlook 2000 (SP3) on my Citrix XPe FR3 farm which runs on Win2k SP3.
