If the modification date of the adm file in the XP systems inf directory is
newer then the copy on the DC, the file will replace the one on the DC the
first time you reference the group policy by running the gpedit tool on the
XP system.

A bit OT but just a word of warning that installing this SP on a machine
while logged in with Admin rights and which is a member of AD will
automatically result in new ADM templates being uploaded to AD...

 

I'm sure they are very good templates, just don't know how this might affect
everyone!

Unless they made a change from RC2 to the production version, ONLY version 8
will work.  All previous versions WILL NOT WORK.
