Don't worry Joanne, just keeping cutting bits off until it fits.  As always, 
ensure you are wired to ground :o) also, don't forget to wipe your fingerprints 
off the chassis and deny having anything to do with it.
 
If we'd listened to IBM when they were telling us that MCA was the way forward, 
everything would be hunky dory...

OK I've had to cut off the end of a RAID card to get it to fit in a tiny 1U 
server that I can live with. 

 

BUT.... now I had to cut the ends of off 3 cards to fit in my 'normal' sized 
new server. And one of the cards is even an IBM.  Crazy thing the slots are too 
far back from the bays .The pins fit fine but there's almost a ¼ ' gap betwixt 
mother and the bays.  It's like the cards are ISO but the motherboard ain't.  I 
always thought IBM was the king of architecture. Probably making them in China.
