Hi Joanne You don't have to use the Unlock reg trick documented in the MS Article below anymore. It's all done via "assoc" and "ftype". But I stumbled over the same problem like you. After sending assoc and ftype, doubleklicking on the tif File brings the ms implemented viewer. Rightclick on the tif file and choose 'open' brings the app you associate with assoc. There is an easy trick to get it work with doubleclick: Delete the HCR Key for .tif before you send the assoc and ftype for me that worked. Hope that helps you. I searched the reg for tif and tiff and it looks like all users are assoc to Image. Hmmmm. -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Pavlo Ignatusha Sent: Wednesday, February 09, 2005 12:00 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: My file assoc problem Joanne, check this article out: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;257592 Thanks, Pavlo Ignatusha Systems Network Coordinator Pembroke Regional Hospital Tel.
