You may be able to get this to work if you use application mode first,
install Citrix, then switch back to admin mode. As far as why more people
aren't doing it, its illegal.

That will not work in windows 2000. Citrix need application mode in order
to publish applications. To users. In addition each client will need a tcal
and scal and citrix cal to connect. You would only receive a temp tcal for
90 days if no tcals license server is found. It just won't work.....

You can. I know someone doing just that. They installed W2K TS in remote
admin
mode then MF 1.8 over the top. Purchased Citrix license for all of their
client
connections. They have no TS licensing server because in remote admin mode,
it
isn't needed. Works fine, every client with an ICA connection gets in. Only
limitation is that only 2 RDP sessions can connect.
My question was one of, why aren't more people doing this? what are the
drawbacks? If a company is going to use ICA connections anyway, they have to
buy the MF licenses for them. Why buy both ICA and TS licenses?
