Check out Brian Madden's site he just put one out not long ago. (www.brianmadden.com) The trick with ts (even in 2003) is that it really lacks a few things (in my opinion) 1- No published or seamless apps. There are initial applications but they are not the same 2- No intuitive client, like NFuse, PN or PNa, or even like a new moon web interface 3- Crap load balancing based on network usage which is useless and limited (in reality) to about 15-18 or so nodes 4-no management capabilities natively for managing terminal servers (huge strides were made with 2003 GPOs but if you have 50 or more servers 2003 by itself will be a little bit of bear. 5- no ability to really secure their product natively (like with a CSG over SSL). While you can use encryption you still gotta open that port and have NATs into the servers Now. They have gotten their printing to work well, got the RDP protocol down pretty thin, have 16 bit and better color, support for drives, and LPT mappings etc... So if you plan on rolling out ONLY a desktop to internal users then 2003 might be golden. Even if you have TONS of users you could get a hardware load balancer that supports 2003 and get better load balancing and be happy. Ive seen older matrixes but would like the latest product comparisons. Our organisation is tossing up between the 2 technologies and the breakdown may assist my cause in pushing Citrix Thanks Anthony ________________________________________________________ NOTICE The information in this email and or any of the attachments may contain; a.
