We get the same thing. It's not related to thin client as I get it on
standard computers. According to our Notes admin, this is a bug in the
Notes 5.x client. He's been working on this on/off for a few weeks now.
He notices it the most when the Notes service is brought down and then
restarted. It's as if pointers, or views, are not being updated.

Has anybody encountered a situation where a user is in Notes and working,
maybe flips to another application or to the calendar and when they return
to their inbox their messages for the past 9 to 11 days have been marked as
unread? This affects all messages within the timeframe regardless of the
folder.
We have Notes 5.0.10 client on Metaframe XP SP1/WinNT 4.0 SP6
This is only happening occassionally and so far only to three people,
myself included.
