Just a shot in the dark. Are you using Notes clustering in your
environment?

Has anybody encountered a situation where a user is in Notes and
working, maybe flips to another application or to the calendar and when
they return to their inbox their messages for the past 9 to 11 days have
been marked as unread? This affects all messages within the timeframe
regardless of the folder.

We have Notes 5.0.10 client on Metaframe XP SP1/WinNT 4.0 SP6

This is only happening occassionally and so far only to three people,
myself included.
