If you are remapping the drives check to make sure the IMALHC dsn is pointing to the right drive letter -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Chris Lynch Sent: Monday, January 06, 2003 1:29 PM To: TheThin. net Subject: [THIN] Interesting MF Xpe problem. I have a client that is having a problem with MetaFrame Xpe running on Windows 2000 Advanced Server with Service Pack 3. He doesn't quite know what FR level he is at, as I'm having him check this right now trough the Add/Remove Programs Control Panel applet. The problem he is having is that both MF servers cannot start the CMC. He cannot start the CMC locally on his workstation. I have had him rebuild the DSN file on both of his servers, and he is still having the problem. I had him run QFARM /ONLINE on both servers, and one will report back both servers and the other will fail with error message "Cannot connect to local IMA Service." Well, the service is started. He restrored his IMA DataStore from tape and is still having the same problem. He has told me that he has R&D environment setup the exact same way as his production, and hasn't had any problems. He is running Comapq DL360's as his MF servers, and 1 DL530 as his DataStore. Any suggestions? Thanks, Chris *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: 99point9.com The 99Point9.com Online Tech Support Helpdesk is the one-stop solution for all your server-based computing needs. http://www.99point9.com ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm *********************************************** This Weeks Sponsor: WM Software WMS Messenger for TSE Affordable Instant Messaging for Terminal Servers http://www.wmsoftware.com/wmsm/ ************************************************ For Archives, to Unsubscribe, Subscribe or set Digest or Vacation mode use the below link. http://thethin.net/citrixlist.cfm
