I'm going to make two assumptions because I sometimes see this same thing with Windows clients. 1. You are using Web Interface. 2. This occurs after you have authenticated to Web Interface and clicked an icon. I normally pass the Web Interface credentials through to the session so this only happens when that is broken. If you can't do that, you'll have to turn off the connection status message within Web Interface somehow. Thomas Koetzing is the expert on that kind of thing. You could try www.thomaskoetzing.de.
