I deal with this a lot because I am a consultant. The only way to do it
is stand your ground! Do not support a server that you did not help
build or that was not built by someone with extensive citrix/terminal
services knowledge.

Personally, I'd say stand your ground and refuse to support it since
they
didn't let you help build it. If you're going to support it anyway,
then
why did you ask to help build it in the first place. Since they
"insisted"
on doing it themselves, let them. Don't be a chump.

A sister company has decided to begin a Citrix farm. We told them we
would
help, but they insisted on doing it themselves, now, I am getting the
calls.
"why doesn't this work", "Why does this happen", "what is different on
these
two servers"?

I am now trying to backtrack what they had done, when I told them I
would
build the boxes for them and make it the same as ours, from a
configuration
standpoint. But, NO!

Anyway, newest server does not auto-create printers properly. At this
time,
I connect to 65 and all 3 of my printers are fine. I connect to 47 and
I
only get one printer. I have verified that the client configuration
settings match. I also noticed the 47 did not have the UPD, so I
replicated
it. Major trouble appears to be with 47, as the others appear all but
fine.

Thoughts?
