We published a batch file to copy the contents of \\profiles\username\application <file://\\profiles\username\application> data\microsoft\shared\signatures to a folder on the users home dir, and an "if exist" statement in usrlogon.cmd to copy it back to the user profile. My company hosts MS Office on Citrix and this has been a consistent problem from the beginning. We use a mandatory profile and save specific settings for Outlook using a combination of regini/regdmp and file copying via login/logoff script. When a user lands on the same server twice in a row or more, their signature selection is retained. However, as soon as they hit a different server the signature defaults back to none. It's as if there is a server-specific setting that can't be transferred. If you have any thoughts or suggestions, it would be much appreciated. After migrating to win2k3, Xpe FR3 and Outlook 2003 the signature will not stay as deafult signature but it always turns to <none>. If you stay wihtin your session but close and start Outlook the signature stays at the right place. When the user logs back in the signature is not being set to what they had before they logged off. For instance if they set it to a sig called Work, when they log back on the signature is in the list but it sets to none. They can pick the Work sig out again but it will not set at login. Does anyone know where this value is set, is it in the registry?
