Remove all of the citrix clients from the machine,  strip the registry and
files and try reinstalling the client.

So does the error seem to be tied to the users, or to the workstations? In
other words, if a "broken" user goes to a "working" workstation, who wins?

two users right now (new farm in pilot stage). One has IE 7 and one has IE
6.  Any published application icon they hit they received the error message.
It happens always.  Other workstations can download the client fine.  I
thought it was an issue with IE 7, but then it happened to an IE 6 user.

What application? How many users? Does it happen every time to every user,
or just sometimes, or just to some users? Is it a published app, or launched
from a Citrix desktop?

Hello, 

Version:Presnetation server 4.0/Windows 2003 sp1 

I have a couple of users getting the following error message when trying to
launch an application: 

 

ERROR: An error has occurred while trying to launch the application. Please
contact your administrator. Log ID: 519fd942 

It seems to be hanging on the client install.  Has anyone seen this before?
