The application does run as a service, but it’s not (lets say) the best app in
the world.
When you log into the Console, it launches a process, when you log out, it
causes the service to fail. Logging in through a non console RDP connection
does not have this problem.

Use FireDaemon to make the app run as a service…

We have a console based service running and want to prevent people connecting
to the console and logging off which in turn stops the service running.
