Login as admin to the console, lock the screen.ALEX From: greg@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx: [THIN] Re: Disable RDP Console connections?Date: Thu, 28 Sep 2006 17:07:04 +0100 The application does run as a service, but it’s not (lets say) the best app in the world. When you log into the Console, it launches a process, when you log out, it causes the service to fail. Logging in through a non console RDP connection does not have this problem. I have tried setting fEnableWinstation to 0 within HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\Console (which seemed the obvious place to me) but no affect. We have a console based service running and want to prevent people connecting to the console and logging off which in turn stops the service running.
