Thanks for this Jeff. I've filed it for next year as DST is almost
finished here.

We have the same issue. Citrix picks up the client time information but
not whether or not DST is checked or not. We have to change a registry
key twice a year as DST is observed and again when its not. Included
below is information from that case.

PROBLEM

========

- When using Citrix Metaframe, we see all appointments on an Outlook
2002 calendar "move" by one hour

RESOLUTION

============

- Since you are using the Citrix Metaframe timezone redirection, and
that policy is unable to poll the client for the Daylight Saving Time
checkbox, we had to push this value via a registry key

HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\TimeZoneInformation

Name: DisableAutoDaylightTimeSet

Type: REG_DWORD

To disable DST: Value: 0x1

To enable DST: Value: 0x0

Subject: [THIN] Different timezones and Outlook

I have a Metaframe XP with FR3 farm running on Windows 2000 SP3.

We have users in two different states. One with daylight saving time
and one without daylight saving.

If a user from the daylight saving state logs on to a Citrix desktop
session the windows desktop displays the correct time. However if they
open Outlook and view the calendar the times are incorrect (ie. They
are the non daylight saving time). It only seems to be affecting
Outlook.

I haven't been able to google any answers so I'm hoping someone here may
have seen this before.

James.
