Check your defaultdomainname key in winlogon in the registry.

Make sure it matches your domain name not the machine name

Subject: [THIN] Credentials changing between web interface login and app launch

For some reason when a user logs into the web interface (configured to
populate the domain field and be hidden) they get the app icons as usual -
however when they click on the icon they are prompted with an error and they
have to change to the domain instead of the local server name in the domain
field of the login screen - when they change this and re-enter their
password the app works without problems.

What whould have changed causing this?

Thanks
