MPS 3.0 uses much less traffic, client response is faster, you can grab
active sessions from a different client, bi-directional audio on WIN32
clients, better printing, integrates perfecly with 2003 and more. In short,
3.0 is a far better product, we only do 3.0 for new installations with our
clients....

No, it's about the same.  There are some technical differences between the
two (audio, zones, DC's, Session Reliability).

The CMC still exists.  There is an MMC console, but it's not for management,
just for a view of the suite applications.   You will still need the CMC for
adding/removing published apps, printer settings, etc.  The MPSv3 guide has
a section in Chapter two (the beginning pages) that outline what's new in
MPSv3 (just like the other guides).
