"presentation server" is just a new name for "metaframe server"  They
are not 2 separate products.  Citrix even refers to metaframe 1.8 as
presentation server 1.8 now.  You are the mps, be the mps, love the mps

No, it's about the same.  There are some technical differences between
the
two (audio, zones, DC's, Session Reliability).

The CMC still exists.  There is an MMC console, but it's not for
management,
just for a view of the suite applications.   You will still need the CMC
for
adding/removing published apps, printer settings, etc.  The MPSv3 guide
has
a section in Chapter two (the beginning pages) that outline what's new
in
MPSv3 (just like the other guides).
