This was an avenue that I was already exploring. I can mine the Event log (Event # 528 I think) and see the last entry for the user's LOGON, then subtract a timestamp I establish at the beginning of my code (to exclude my event log search overhead time) I have some sample code to do this, but it wont be something I can whip up in an afternoon. . . . ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- Melvin Columna KTS Center Of Excellence - Application Infrastructure Kraft Foods Global, Inc. eMail: Melvin<.>Columna<@>Kraft.com {remove the < and > characters} ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -------------- -----Original Message----- From: thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:thin-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Bob Sent: Wednesday, December 15, 2004 3:27 PM To: thin@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [THIN] Re: Capturing time since login If you are auditing logon/logoff, you already have the timestamp for login, but you'll need to script the correct filtering. If you control the app code, it should be simple enough to place the other end of the timestamp pair at initial screen display. g'luck Bob ******************************************************** This Weeks Sponsor SeamlessPlanet.com Domain Names Register your .com domain name for as low as $7.85 One of the lowest prices on the web!
