If others are willing to chip in – I’ve stood up a survey if you’d like to
contribute?

Hi Brian

I am in the process of stating a Non Profit that will focus on
Entrepreneurship/startups. We plan on having around 250 volunteers and
around 20 staff. We would like to use a BYOD model so I feel XenApp /
XenDesktop (session based desktops) will be a good fit. Right now we do
not own any servers so I am exploring is it best to use the public cloud or
buy servers or a mix.

Happy to answer any questions.

Cheers

Ryan

I would like to revive part of this inquiry from Ryan.

Who is considering XenApp / XenDesktop on Azure / EC2.

Thinking about it, exploring it, already discounted it, etc.

I am curious as to which platform you are considering and why - what is the
reason for using a public cloud.

And what you think your timeframe might be.

And, are you an integrator, hoster, enterprise, etc. Is it for your
company, or for your clients.

You can little 'r' respond if you like I am curious.

Andrew gave really good responses, but I really want the breadth of folks
thinking about it.

Thanks!
