you do not necessarily need Profile maker you can use a custom.prf file and
mod prof and run a script at login to make the changes to the custom.prf
file after it is copied top the users home directory or profile

If you ar using Outlook XP this is built in (look for a custom.prf in the
Office install directory on your server ) make the changes to that file like
Exchange server name ...etc and when a new user logs in and runs outlook it
will automatically be configured

Subject: [THIN] Automatically configure Outlook 2000 clients

Hello All,

We are in the process of switching our user base to a Citrix based Outlook
solution for our remote offices. We would like to use an application such as
ProfileMaker to automatically configure the end users' profile when the
first connect. Our problem is that our client machines are VERY locked down
and nothing can be installed when the end user is logged in. This rules out
ProfileMaker as it has a 180K client piece which an administrator would have
to install - for that I'd just configure the profile.

Can anyone suggest an application which will ease the configuration
headache? Or perhaps you know of a workaround?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
