I think as of 4.2 you can do either host based or license server with CAG.
With AAC mode the only option is a license server..

CAG licenses can ONLY be on the CAG.

 

CAG/AAC licenses can ONLY be in the Access Suite License server.

server as the licenses are treated as concurrent and can be shared by the

How is licensing handled on this unit.

 

We intend to buy 2 (redundancy).  Our plan is to use one as primary, the
other as secondary.  IF main fails, it will be set to failover to the
secondary.  Appears licenses are kept local to the applicance though.can the
licenses be shared so they are available no matter which appliance is in
use?
