Last evening near Sarco in Bee Co. there were literally hundreds of
Scissortails that appeared about to go to roost nearby close to Sarco
Creek.....I don't have a count at all but wager I had at minimum 230-300
along an eighth mile stretch.
Hairy Wood. For those still asking and trying, I had 2 birds this morning
on Park Road 1C just west of Harmon Rd. where there is a band of pines that
escaped the fire. It was extremely slow birding.otherwise...A few
Broad-wingeds etc.
This afternoon there were 10 Monk Parakeets flying over 183 near the Duval
exit.in N. Austin for whomever is keeping track.
