[texbirds] Tuesday morning birding, Hagerman NWR

We finished the day with 78 species.  Spring migrants are still slow arriving.  
We had a fairly good variety of shorebirds(12 species), but numbers are still 
low. In the fields west of Short Road we saw Upland Sandpipers. We saw 2 
Broad-winged hawks just past Meadow Pond.  On the far west side of the refuge 
we found a Louisiana Waterthrush.  Lincoln's Sparrows are reappearing, and we 
saw one group of 9 Lark Sparrows.
