Thanks, D.D. In addition to the people D.D. mentioned, I would like to thank D.D. and Dell Little for leading the trip to Richland Creek WMA, and Richard Kinney and Ross Rasmussen, who volunteered to lead field trips to Lake Tawakoni, but were foiled by weather. Thanks also to Ann Bush, Janet and Ron Cook, Joe and Annie Marsey, Boyd Sanders and Dennis Scott, for leading participants to field trips and for answering questions at the hotel. We all appreciated that the participants were good humored and enthusiastic despite the weather and field trip cancellations. Finally, D.D. Currie deserves a round of applause for conceiving of the weekend and providing unflappable guidance before and during the event. It was fun to meet people from all over the state and we hope that you will come back and bird with us again.
