Hi, all!
Took visiting birder Ken around south Hidalgo County today; highlights
included the continuing Rose-throated Becard at Estero along with a male
Chestnut Crescent. Bronzed Cowbirds and Yellow-headed Blackbirds at the
silos were good, picked up the Buff-bellied Hummer at Santa Ana and Monk
Parakeets in Hidalgo, and while it was too hot to do much birding at
Anzalduas, we did manage brief looks at the Sprague's Pipit and a Green
