Greetings,
This afternoon we heard and then saw ~ 100 Sandhill Cranes flying northward
up Lake Austin and over Mansfield Dam in northwest Travis County. Spring is
here.

I’ve been noticing whitings and grackles doing mating calls and displays
for about 3 weeks now. Spring springs earlier all the time.

Should be an interesting spring/summer for the neighborhood White-wings.
Just saw a Cooper's going into a clump of Live oaks just down the street
with nest material. Seems a bit early but I guess not.
