Bentsen-RGV State Park Sunday Bird Walk March 3, 2013
Hello,
The Red-naped Sapsucker continues at Bentsen-RGV State Park near the
boat ramp "Wall Blind" (feeder #5). It has been working the Black
Willow trees.
Good news for birders - Thanks to the efforts of the USFWS, we now have
water at the Hawk Tower Resaca which has already begun to attract ducks
and shorebirds.
The Bentsen-RGV State Park Hawk Watch is on and continues through April
30 from 9am to noon daily at the Hawk Tower. Hop on the 8:30 am Tram
and join us at the Hawk Tower. No tram service on Mondays.
New schedule for Bird Tours: Sundays & Wednesdays 8:30 to 10:30 am.
