Go to Xento-Canto for that towhee species... XC112024, 19, 20 ...I have never heard GTTO sing in Texas, that I remember, but did heard a very similar song on several occasions in NM last year. I am very glad Petra Hockey recorded this..When she played it back to me, it was my very first thought......Heck I am not even sure this song has been recorded in Texas, if indeed it is GTTO.
