Still present this morning, the adult Lesser Black-backed Gull reported by Jon McIntyre on Sunday is at mile marker 60. I watched and photographed it for 20 min. and it quite consistently stayed on the beach near breaking water at mile 60, occasionally flying off, making a large circle and coming back to the same spot. The spot is midway between Gulf Waters RV Resort and Mirage Beachfront Condos on Mustang Island in Port Aransas. GPS is approximately N27.7531, W97.1156.
