Amen. I remember a time that I was observing a flock of about 10 Painted Buntings foraging on some tall grasses waving in the morning sun. There were both males and females, RIGHT AT THE EDGE OF A STREET IN MY SUBDIVISION! Two women walked by, completely unaware of this circus of color. I didn't interrupt their conversation, probably because I knew their joy would not have been anywhere near to mine, but I was so happy to have chanced upon this amazing scene, and to have been able to appreciate its singularity.
